Subject: RE: Fertilizing Rented Pasture

So in all my years of running a sprayer Iv only fertilized pastures one time. And Iv been over thousands of acres between our own and neighbors. The time I did it, it was for a rich guy that wanted to build up grass on his place before he sold it. Long story short it didn’t work well. Keep in mind we sit on 6-8” of rain per year(35 bushel wheat country). The grass greens up here for a few weeks in June and it’s back to its normal brown state. If your back east someplace I’d say maybe try it pending a soil test. But out here, you’d have neighbors taking pictures of you out there spraying. Just FYI, definitely wear your seat belt in there, Sand hills are ruff!!!!
