Maybe but I’m doubtful the removal is that low with grazing.

All you need to do to see the difference is spread some fertilizer, preferably with something that makes a defined line (not a spinner cart).

If you can see the difference in grass color and growth around every cow pie vs grass 2 feet away, your pasture is short on fertility.



I have one 4 acre field that I bale grazed on 8-10 years ago, last soil test did not change from the previous one 5ish years before, need to sample again one of these years, maybe this year. The field I am talking about is very stony, I made hay on it just once because it was so thick and tall would have been a lot of waste grazing, been rotationally grazed ever since.
