Bottom of the Mitten | I wouldn't spread one granule of fertilizer without a soil test to see what's needed. Tests are cheap. And as someone else mentioned a soil test really should've been done before you negotiated the rent, but it sounds like that's in the past so move on. If I have a moderately long lease I just fertilize like its my own, that way you'll have a chance to recoup your investment. I wouldn't even mention to the land owner about splitting the cost, just put it down and be happy you have the land secured | |
