You're growing feed. It doesn't matter whether you're baling it or grazing it, you want to grow as much feed/acre as possible.
The only way that baling vs grazing matters is that the manure/urine is all being returned by the grazing animal. You're still removing fertility from the pasture by grazing, just not as much as you do from haying.
