Pull soil samples and see what you need. Start with correcting PH. This makes fertilizer dollars go further. Then spread for removal rates at a minimum. Hay ground don’t short the potash. Lots removed in. Bale of hay. Not much removed in grazing. Spread N for what your needs are and wallet can handle. We spread as much N in fall as the spring as stockpiled grass is cheaper than feeding hay.
