We have been hauling at night for the last month or so, we switch to nighttime as the days lengthen and the sun angle gets higher so we have frozen roads. There’s still plenty of frost in the ground but it’s amazing how strong the sun is this time of year.

Yes Ontario I have had the opportunity to hear the lights. It was probably ten or fifteen years ago and I was banding fertilizer at night and managed to get stuck. The lights were active so I got out of the tractor and walked towards the center of the 1/4 I was in and I could hear a crackling sound, as I listened it changed in intensity and I would describe it as like a synthesizer type sound from the sixties music. The light was in a complete circle around the sky and appeared to be just above ground level, it was very surreal.
I grew up in the Molesworth area and remember seeing lights but nothing as intense as I have witnessed here in Alberta. It was a very clear night last night so that helped.
