I heard Trump explain recently that these tariffs were set up unfairly after WWII to help those countries rebuild. Makes sense to me that now they can end. Also, these countries greatly underfunded NATO while maintaining a trade benefit.
It was alarming to me to learn that all of our medicine and medical equipment was built in China during covid. This has to change, somehow, someway, but we can't keep going like this.
