Brother said:”T-Mobil : $59. So I went to T-Mobil store: “nope”, $120. Well, I took it as I wanted done with CC. Phone service did improve dramatically. I went back & signed up for automatic withdrawal( which I hate)- served $5 or $10. Went back later & got price down to $90.
So, today I went to a Walmart I rarely go to. I went to electronics dept. as I need a charge cord. ( I should add: I use battery buggy, as I am severely disabled. A man came over, helped me find what I needed, then asked about my phone service. I figured he was pushing, but told him about T-Mobil. He said “let me help you”. He took my phone & accessed T-Mobil app/account & asked “ do you use Apple TV?” N0 never!! He re-set my plan , so now I am on 55+ plan-as I should have been in the beginning. He told me it is normal for phone company employees to behave that way: that is their revenue……
As far as a phone : I have an I-Phone 11 & and android One plus. I have bought used phones from Back Market. I have found them to be reliable. There is another supplier of used phones: will need to see if I have the info. Back Market has information about each phone-which can help when shopping. Unfortunately, my favorite place:in New York City-quit the phone business.
