swohio | Thank you so much, this is only way to learn. I use to drill and it worked great but time consuming. So tried some flown on, hit or miss. So last number of years just spreading with a fertilizer spreader, no fert. with it. Not worked in, has worked great until this year. .2" of rain the whole month of October. Some good stands and some not good at all. All cereal rye on bean ground and some on my coc. Rest of corn stalks too late to do. This has worked so well but we'll see how it turns out in next 6 weeks or so. Have a lot of weeds come up in the last 2 weeks, rye looks better, hopefully it all helps as our forecast from Wed night to next Sunday calling for 4-8" of rain. Great way to start April. | |
