NW Wisconsin | Last spring I had an issue with dry fertilizer spreading on one of my farms from a local coop. Textbook streaks like the spreader wasn’t set up correctly and I was also billed for 110ac when the most I’ve ever planted or sprayed on that farm is right at 92-93ac. I pre paid for 95ac. and that is also what I ordered and said to spread. I was told the applicator ran out with about 10ac. left and called the plant to bring more out without anyone ever telling me.
I paid for 95ac of dry fertilizer and custom application but they are demanding the rest after almost a year of fighting. I have told them I will pay the rest if they show me the application map from the machine but they refuse to print it off and tell me that is their data.
So my question is, who owns the data? What else are they trying to hide? Do I have a leg to stand on if I keep refusing to pay? I’m just a STO so they don’t care I have taken my business somewhere else but still irritating. | |
