deep in the southeastern corner of Idaho | take an Angus bull that is a carrier for the red gene. Breed him to a straight Hereford cow. Hold all the females to breed. You will have guys knocking at your door. Takes a little bit of searching to find the angus bull but I have found going to a red angus breeder who is using Black genetics to help his program is the gold mine. Don't ask how I know cause I wont share but my BiL has a killer bunch of cows with this formula.
