The advise I got 50 years ago was to save my money till I could pay for a farm. I don’t think you save fast enough to get ahead of land inflation. Most of those experts took over daddy’s farm and had no business sense.
I did specify successful. Success has different meanings to different people. Find people that have achieved the success you want for yourself.
And I also said to take it with a grain of salt and to find the value in it. No one is entirely worthless - they can always be used as a bad example. And there is value in a bad example.
