NE Kansas | Went to Normandy about 2 years ago. We waited in line at Customs for 2 hours. When I got to custom official, and after a minute on her phone scrolling thru pics (could see what she was doing) she grabbed my passport, stamped it and I moved on. I was not a happy camper. I was about to yell out " we should have left you with the Germans" but did not want to cause a scene.
We stayed in Paris and did the day trip to Normandy. If I ever went back, I would stay in Caen or a little town around there instead of Paris. That part of the country is so beautiful. Normandy tour was very good and would do it again in a heartbeat. | |
