| I like them crispy..
We used to make them with half lard and half butter.
Mom's Betty Crocker cook book specified sifted floor.
Mom probably hated when we made cookies.
It seemed the temperature of the butter and lard when we started affected things also.
The wife buys the cookie dough and that seems just as good as home made.
Truthfully, I just buy the ones at the mini mart or truck stop. They are just as good and I only eat a few, instead of a batch. | |
