I think he is saying don't pay and don't take it home. Let them prove you owe them money. For you it is too late. I think a lot of guys were just being real with you. You are not going to win, so let it be is actually good advice. I am betting the auction said 'shows 800 acres' and it did. The followed by 'big iron makes no guantees to actual miles or acres or hours'.
