Ok, then maybe pick your battles? There is a lot of money to be saved by buying stuff on auction if you keep your head about you and don't overpay. Sometimes you take a lump here and there but you are basically taking your chances. I am not defending wrong info in auctions. I'm just saying that if you are getting so worked up about this rather insignificant situation, you need to go pay retail at a dealership. Also, don't be fooled to think the dealers have the same price for every customer. They know who is a pain and costs more money after the sale.

Analogy:
If a car said 4000 miles in the ad and you buy it sight unseen for a price you like, it isn't the end of the world if it has 7000 miles on it. 40,000 vs 70,000 and it is a pretty big deal. Stand on whatever high spot you want, but you may never find another car you like for that price with that low of miles.
