I'm guessing with the size of your wagon you could feed 80 cows a load? So less than 6 cents a head a day. I'd say that's cheap enough for a new wagon

Hello B. ,

I'm feeding around 500 pairs and heifers with it right now. Most days depending on the ration, I can do it in two loads. This morning I fed in two loads, 1st was 14,000 pounds and second was 12,500. I can only get those weights in a load because of the extension ring. I don't really have a backup. I have had one gearbox problem under warranty, and the dealer backed me up to a new one to take and use until it was fixed, so that is nice. I wonder if I should have bought a larger mixer. I have been thinking of buying a used one to rebuild and keep in a barn as a backup.
