Central Alberta | I had always recommended varieties based on the cooperative trials in the Canadian seed guide, because I believed them to be honest. Some seed companies had their own "research" which always showed their own varieties as the best. Our company got acquired by another company, and it had different management. I asked my new area manager if we could get the top varieties that my top customers wanted. He said, "Just sell him on our own test results, which show ours to be the best." I lost my best customer that day, and soon after, that company lost me. | |
