The Internet | My brother in law has just got a new Tesla. I'm up with my family right now. My car hasn't got a very big tank, but I can drive the 190 miles to them, take mum and dad around for an hour or so and literally spend 2 minutes refuelling (I've timed it). My BIL said he'd need a half hour quick charge just to do the return journey.
I'll attach some pictures of typical streets around here. One is of terraced houses. There is zero off street parking, if yiu get there at 7 in the evening, good luck parking. So how are you goibg to charge an electric car?
The other is a fairly new apartment complex with just a few designated parking spaces. Again by 7 pm, good luck getting parked.
Before we all left home, we had 6 vehicles in the household. 5 of which were on the road every day. How do you u charge 5 cars, from a domestic power supply which I think is 80 amps, on top of the normal domestic demand at this time of year?
