....the only way, best way, most logical way. You want an EV? Get one. Make it an option....

If it's the 'mandates' that you're concerned about, I wouldn't stress over that much. The states that are putting out that 2035 figure are doing so to keep everyone on the same page. That way, the home builders, electric companies, municipalities, car manufacturers, car parts suppliers, fuel stations, and oil companies can all have the same goal in mind. I have no doubt that the 2035 date will be pushed further out because they aren't meeting it. But at least everyone can come to the table with the same timeline info.

Meh. No different whatsoever than diesel emissions. Just stuff it up our @ss and tell us to figure it out. Plugging DPF filters because we cannot start an engine at -30F and put it to work. Frozen DEF causing constant derate and dealer assistance to get moving again.

This will be no different, just tickle, tickle, tickle, tickle, until acceptance reaches a high enough level that the proverbial "trigger" is pulled and then we all have to choke down the "it is what it is" turd.

I sure hope these threads are still out there in the "cloud" 30 years from now so there's proof of it.
