Sw mn | I have a knight 3142 that I just keep adding metal to. Probably has had around 29000 loads threw it.
Replaced the bottom auger and relined with stainless steel. Do the work myself.
Needs new flighting on the top auger currently. Be about $1000.
Same with manure spreader, Sides rusted out. $5000 to fix is a lot better than $65,000 for new. Interest is expensive. Only have to get another year out of it and the interest will cover the repairs versus buying a new one.
