I heard from an inside source that Ravens (Industries) has become less friendly since their acquisition by CNH.

On my Sony cameras, if I use a 3rd party battery, it may or may not be able to read battery condition. The Sony charger may/may not be able to charge the knock-off battery correctly. I know this from experience.

On some of my printers, using 3rd party, or generic name ink supplies may/may not be able to show ink remaining. I know this from experience.

Using non-DJI batteries in some DJI drones causes problems, depending on software updates.

None of the above items are painted green & yellow.

Ron, you are going away from the questions!
May be Raven has now the poor CNC support standard too
Sony never did claim that a third party (chinese made? and much cheaper!) batterey has the same function as the original
Although your printer manufacture did tell you that any cheaper third party inc supply will work as good as the original?
And DJI never did tell you when you bought the drone, that a cheaper third party Batterie will keep the drone in the air....

We are talking here a bout a ISOBUS Industrei standard which means softwarecompatibility to each other! And this is the point whcih efen you did write about!
THis is not a company problem (ok it is forced by mainly JD!) it is a pronblem of businessstile and causes that AG electronic can be kept up much to expensive!
