I can't remember the last time I traveled more than 400 miles in my pickup. I can see where this would be pretty handy to have around here, if its affordable. I don't like the idea of ice being regulated out of existence, but I'm not anti-ev, either. To me it should be another tool in the toolbox and let consumers decide what they want.
