Subject: RE: International Tractors In The Cold

coast of Maine
Used to have a fleet of 10 trucks back when we hauled for others. After long weekends Monday or sometimes Sunday mornings all would need to be up and going.Often when it was a below zero stretch (sure as heck) there would be a unit with an issue, cord plug, block elements, fuel issue, starter issue, lights in bunk left on,, and on .You learn then that cold starts are possible and it is the bosses problem. If you were hauling refers,,2 motors and if an on board gen set ,,3.I do not miss it at all.My hats off to all you guys needing tractors for daily chores no matter the temp.
