Central Alabama
Prices this year was going to take above average yields for cotton. This year down here the yield and grades being off from the hurricanes are the main issue for us. We had a really good crop at the first of August, then 36 days of drought then hurricanes our fields lost between 100-600lbs an acre.

The saying for cotton on a 10-year base has been 3-years profit, 3-years loss, 3-years breakeven with the 1-year left being the make-or-break year.
