Yes.

This is common in the tech world anyway. Do you see any Apple users complaining that their devices don't talk well to Android devices other than voice and SMS? No, they often take pride in that reality. Does Google give the best experience possible to Apple users? No. Apple iOS does work with most Google apps, but the best experience is reserved for Android users. Does Microsoft offer Office to Linux Mint users? No, the best experience is for Windows users. Likewise, I don't expect Deere to give the best experience to AGCO or CNH users either. They have ATU and ATC options, but it will never be as good as a real 8R or 9R tractor. And just remember, most new Case planters don't work without a PRO 700 display. So it's not just Deere playing hard ball.


Yep, and can't run Ag Leader planter gizmos without their display. Can't run the current AL auto steer without their GPS feeding it. Everyone is playing the game
