NE Iowa | There used to be a resort with dozens of cottages on the lake. They had a great waterfront beach, a dining hall, game room with arcade games, bowling, ping pong, and pool. There was also a gift shop that had piles of cedar products in it and the whole place smelled like fresh cut cedar.
The Land O Lakes coops would have a retreat there for board members and I went there a few times with my parents.
I was just curious if others had been there and remember the place. As far as I can tell now the place was turned into modern condos now. | |
