| Tomcat, I wasn't belittling you. Sorry if my response to your post came across as that. It's truly amazing we can all share our experiences and thoughts on this site. Yes I'm sure I bristle a few up on this site. I just responding in how that situation might be handled here. Honestly I was taught to leave a pair alone if calf not in danger. Don't know about your situation as I wasn't there. But I do know quite a few people exacerbate their own problems by messing with animals while birthing.
