Coastal South Carolina | It is up to us to continue those traditions.
I remember my parents making several types of cookies, fruit cake cookies and cakes during the Christmas season. I have continued some of those traditions. I was at an in-laws gathering last night and my wife's nieces asked for some of the fruit cake cookies I baked from my parents recipe. She commented it was not Christmas with out the fruit cake cookies I bake for them.
