How many of your wives ate theirs when they calved because the cows do it?

I personally wouldn’t consider putting on a glove to handle afterbirth.

“Ranchy” is a term reserved for a very small demographic of people found in very few places in the world.

I was about to start a thread called Copenhagen and afterbirth! Tag and band a wet one, then get a fresh chew!

Anyways, I want my cows to eat it. We have a little trouble with coyotes getting a calf or two, and not getting the yotes started on the afterbirth has to help with that.

I'd say the eating the afterbirth is a survival trait.
