cropsey, il 61731 | Regulation turns out to be a great way to control what folks do. If they make a bunch of overly restrictive rules for perfume production, perfume production starts going away. It's even worse if they change the rules often.
The problem is that citizens want to trust the government edicts but find out the motivation behind the regulation has little to do with improving something and more to do with limiting choices. It's much easier to rule over folks with limited choices.
A good argument can be made for government administering a set of standards that we all can generally agree on. These standards should not be solely government generated though. | |
