EV's, wind turbines, solar are all engineering by legislation. I think at one time legislators wanted to officially round Pi to 3.14. The marketing dollars being spent is enormous and they are getting some people to ignore the practicalities of the situation and get on board. This all stems from the created CO2 crisis.
