Faunsdale, AL | It’ll be easier. Well maybe just not a whole lot different level of frustration either way you go. If it’s the same as the 9600, the hex shaft has to come out one direction because there’s a shoulder/collar made on it. The sprocket sits next to the shoulder and there’s a spacer on the other side. The shoulder keeps the shaft from moving side to side in the hex bearings.
Really take a good look at the vertical section of the unload auger. Lots easier to drop that out with the return out of the way.
And of course, bearings are easy to change while you’re changing the sprockets.
