NCND | I think the x9 was intended more for Canada and the northern plains than anywhere. Things get tough here early and stay that way late into the day once August 24th or so rolls around. The custom cutters all had class 7 machines but 80% of combined here were class 8s or 9s at that time.
Now the custom guys have 8s and farmers have 9s,10s or 11s. If you can travel .4mph faster it really adds up.
Going from a s series deere to a x series is like going from a spray coupe with a 40’ boom to a self propelled 4710 deere. The capacity difference is gigantic and it only gets bigger as the sun heads toward the south.
Corn and beans not a big deal but all the cool season crops the difference is so great that auction values on those x series is a true value here.
