Rolla, ND | Well realize that if the cost of natural gas would drive AA prices and thus all other sources, you would have much AA being half of its current price.
What would bring prices down?
Well if those who want major cuts to the ag program and crop insurance are successful, you would see some inputs come down,but not likely by this spring.
Also, if something happened that we would see a flood of cheap urea, not likely by spring and indeed trade wars more likely to raise prices.
Other possibilities would be a hard cold snap resulting in sales of natural gas rather than making fertilizer.
So always possible, but as things sit now, I would say the chance of prices going up is higher than the chances of going down by this spring. | |
