Better find out what the monthly charge for the 480 service is. also price between 2 phase 480 volt and single phase 480 volt compared to 240 volt single phase. That might make your decision much easier.
Price a 3 phase pump that size compared to a single phase.
I run some 480 to 240 volt transformers where I already have 3 phase 480 volts service. Have had lightning take them out.
Power to well roughly 900 feet from road.
