Subject: RE: International Tractors In The Cold

Having done a fair amount of grain bag unloading with both a 1086 and 1066- the 86 would usually fire unaided down to single digits, and about ten degrees below the 66.   Some theorize that 6 volt batteries in series are supposed to have more reserve than the 23 volts parallel, but my experience is that spinning the thing harder right up front is a lot better than being able to crank longer.

An hour of sunshine in the morning is way better than damp and foggy, too.
