The problem is not that consumers don't want them, rather consumers don't want them at the inflated price they want to sell them for.  Give me the choice between a $45,000 1500 3.0L and a $45,000 1500 EV I would take the EV and the $2000 per year energy savings, but no way will I pick their Alvalanch looking Silverado EV that is 2X the money.
