Starting this year California has mandated that heavy truck dealerships must sell a certain amount of electric vehicles in order to sell a certain amount of diesel powered vehicles. As the years go buy the threshold for EV trucks increases and the amount of diesel trucks decease. CARB is taking this model and now applying it to light duty cars and pickups starting in 2026. | |
