Sounds normal unfortunately. Have you though of raising your deductible? I have a $5k deductible because the $10k didn't save me as much as I thought it should. But, I'm having to switch insurance companies because mine quit writing umbrella policies so I'm looking to go much higher in terms of the deductible. I'm thinking $15-$25k range if I can find it. 
I think the insurance companies are telling us to self insure as much as possible. 
I have full coverage on all auto including a 17 year old pickup and three 20 plus year old semi's. Probably time to drop everything but liability on those type vehicles.
