Can't follow autopath? Autopath seems important to me anyway.
This is exactly what I meant when I told him ISO would do 99%....it's that last 1 percent that will bug him.
So, you'll call the JD tech & he'll say it must be Agco. You'll call the Agco tech & he'll say it must either be JD or Reichardt, you'll call Reichardt........and so on. Meanwhile, time is a-wasting.
You need better dealers...
You call me and I work the problem, and until I figure out for sure it's on the Deere side, I try and resolve it. Now, most Deere dealers will definitely play that merry go round, because, well, Deere, and they can. It always has to be the fault of whatever is not Deere. I am also fortunate to have have 2 Ag Leader and Precision dealers that I work with that do the same thing...I have many more tractors pulling Deere and Kinze planters than I do White or Massey, so we get into a lot of issues that end up not being ours, but we still have to work the issue until we are sure it's not on our tractor, and by that time we can normally point the Deere folks in a general direction.
Reichardt does the same, you call them, and they help you, they don't point fingers. I once called them about an Ag Leader system not steering a goofy pickle harvester correctly because I know they had messed with them for other customers using their system, and not only did they not say "that's not our system, we won't help you" they offered to send us what they used on the last one to help diagnose the problem. Sure, I'm a dealer of theirs, but they were more than willing to offer up advise to help resolve a problem that wasn't theirs.
