Kid is gonna use it for school next year. So couple ?
Its an 83 K10, first year or so of the 700-r4. It likes to hunt in drive, so usually just run in third. Would a shift kit help or make no difference.
Anyone install aftermarket radio in the original spot? The ones on amazon are either junk or over $300 so at this point just figuring on making an enclosure below the original radio for a basic unit.
The factory radio, if functional, is better than anything modern for pulling in stations. If it is an auxiliary input you are after, they make inline ones that plug into the antenna port.
If your radio isn't working, I think it is called "classic industries" makes a radio that looks and fits like the original, but with newer technology and looks, depending on the model. |
