coast of Maine | 60farmer,far from being a pro,,you could make that less prone to stress/dry cracking by adding those thin metal angles for interior corners.This would be easy.
On another note ,be aware that some popcorn ceilings sprayed prior to 1978 ish were containing lots of asbestos.It may be safer to screw new sheets on over the popcorn.I had a room my crew and I were redoing this summer.Th plan was to cover as old popcorn crap..I come back and they said "we just scraped it",,,so it was too late ,,the dust and possible asbestos was all released ,,, | |
