It sounds very strange, just like a drinking diet or a fruit diet. To lose weight, our body needs to get all the vitamins but have a calorie deficit


If you look at the mechanisms that our bodies use to store and burn fat, insulin is a key player. If insulin is high, your body will store fat. If insulin is low, your body will burn fat. I think this fact could be considered common knowledge. If not, I have several studies with hard data that I can link (maybe - still struggle with links).

It is possible to have a calorie excess and keep insulin low and burn fat (lose weight) all at the same time. I, along with many others, have done so.

Our bodies are not bomb calorimeters. Where the calories come from, and what we eat with them, makes a huge difference.

I'm not a doctor by any means. I'm just dumb farmer that likes to read and puts personal experience above just about everything.
