Republic OH (NC OH) | when i was a loan officer, back in the day. i had an
applicant apply for a house loan. told him he needed a
cosigner. his dad was the superintendent of the local
school and his wife was the school psychiatrists. both
very high paying jobs. i could not accept them as
a cosigner. they had way too much debt. mostly
credit cards but also installment debt. they decided to
take money from their retirement accounts to pay
off debt so they could cosign.
we also didn't have good luck with preachers and policemen.
