What variety of edible beans are you growing in west central Minnesota ?
It's not MN, but here in bean country in ND the two names I hear the most are Torreon (slow darkening) and Maverick. There's another that starts with an L, but those aren't as popular as they used to be since they are a shorter variety that really needs to be picketed or knifed.
