Did 2 this past weekend.
Start with a high quality ham, I used a Neuskes boneless that was sliced. In a small Nesco (with temperature control).
I used a recipe my girlfriend found on the internet,
2 cups pineapple juice
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup maple syrup
I warmed it up on 200 degrees (equivalent to low on a crock pot) for about 3 hours.
Turned out good, warm through but not overcooked so it got dry.
This is virtually identical to the recipe my wife uses. Only other thing is a cup of apple cider vinegar. |
