Working capital is what bankers care about, and land value has nothing to do with that.

Who told you that updating your land values on your balance sheet would benefit your lending situation?


I don't completely agree with this. Land owned, or the equity therein, is part of a borrowers financial strength. Along with working capital.........and a handful of other things.

But with that said.............I know that they don't take the farmer's values as gospel...........regardless of what numbers we farmers enter on those lines.
