NENE | I bought a piece of stainless big enough to cover it. IDK probably about 10 gauge. Took the panel off where you can work easier, cut to fit and welded it on. I pre-drilled some holes in the middle of the original floor and rivet welded it there also. I planned on using hard steel of some kind but the local blacksmith recommended stainless. Not sure of the cost but it wasn't all that hard to do and has been wearing good. Good time to work on chains and sprockets with the floor off. If I remember correctly the front piece is pretty thick with a rounded front and fairly easy to replace so I don't think I covered that. | |
