The alternative is to have local shop laser cut a piece of 10gage Grade50 steel to put in there. For those who have done this:
- Do I need Hardox material, or is Grade50 good enough?
- Where is the front edge of your sheet? at the seam between the 1st and 2nd piece (see attached pic)?
# 1 doesnt show much wear, so I wasn't necessarily going to try to cover it
